Delta del Llobregat: a service area for a multitude of birds

Delta del Llobregat is located in a special geographical point for the migratory passage of birds. Halfway between Delta de l’Ebre and Aiguamolls de l’Empordà, it becomes an obligatory stop for migrating birds. Now we are in the middle of the postnuptial migration. What does this mean? It means that most species have already bred in Northern Europe and are heading towards warmer areas to spend the winter. In search of food and rest, many of them stop in Delta del Llobregat, delighting ornithology fans.

What species of birds can I see in the Llobregat Delta?

More than 350 species of birds have been counted in our territory. It is a real madness. In Delta del Llobregat you can see almost all the species of birds that live in Cataluña. Where can I see all these birds?

Another place to visit is the area of the natural spaces of Remolar. In this case, the access is more complicated from MuchaMasia but you can get there by bicycle without any problem.
