We all know how difficult it is to stay away from your home for a long period of time. For this reason, at MuchaMasia we are aware of the importance of making you feel as if you were at home. In addition, we are near the Barcelona airport. We know that many of you are forced to spend a specific period outside your home for work or academic reasons. Our Hostel Rural Urbà in El Prat de Llobregat is very well located. One of the advantages we offer is the direct connection by metro from the Barcelona airport and also from the center of Barcelona. This fact will allow you to be immediately in those places where you have to perform your work obligations.
The Hostel offers a method of accommodation where contact with other guests is an element of identity. Surely you can share talks with people who study the same as you, who work in something similar or who have nothing to do with you :).
You can spend all day working or studying, and after dinner you can rest easy until bedtime. Enjoying the dining room and the barn also means being relaxed and being able to accompany it with a cup of tea or infusions. You will feel at home. In the barn you can study or meditate. And you also have Wifi.
Rooms according to your needs
Our rooms are shared, but we are aware of your needs and that is why we try to group you according to arrival or departure times or groups. In addition, each bed is semi-private, since it allows to preserve a certain privacy thanks to the curtain. Inside you have a plug to use on your phone, laptop or connect a lamp to read.
We also have individual lockers, lockers to store your work clothes, plus iron and hair dryer.
MuchaMasia also offers you washing and ironing service for your clothes or suit. The Wifi connection is general throughout the house and is very well valued by our customers. there are also enough showers and toilets so you do not have to wait if you’re in a hurry.

We propose a fun activity. And surely, you can NOT do in any other hostel in Barcelona. What do you think to get up early on Saturday and enjoy the morning bustle of Mercat de Pagès? With what you buy, you can prepare some very top dishes. Because what we offer you is the idea that you buy what you want to cook yourself. Potatoes, beans, salad greens, spinach, tender garlic, tomatoes … These are first quality products that you can use as a chef in our kitchen with total freedom. You buy it, you cook it and you eat it. And let’s not forget that they are products of first quality, seasonal and proximity.
In addition, in the kitchen we have a cupboard with individual boxes to store your purchase and place in the fridge for those foods that need it.
Services at your disposal
Besides being very close to the airport, we are a tourist information point and we like to explain the hidden corners that should be visited. We also like to recommend restaurants both in El Prat and in Barcelona. And if that were not enough, you have the opportunity to hire a tour if you have some free time.
What else do we have? Well, we have bike rental if you want to change the transport to get to your work, or go on a field trip on your rest day.
