Five places to make a special picnic in Barcelona

Picnic in the shadow of Joan Miró

Parc de La Ciutadella, the lung of the old Barcelona
Another classic of the visits to Barcelona is the Parc de la Ciutadella. It is located at the gates of the Born neighborhood, which we have already talked about in other articles. The Parc de la Ciutadella respects the grounds of the former defense fortress of Barcelona and now houses the Parlament de Catalunya. The mountain of Montjuïc is the closest mountain to the sea of Barcelona. In it there are several well-known venues, such as the Palau Sant Jordi or the MNAC. To get to the Mirador del Poble Sec we suggest you take the bus 21, which links El Prat with the final section of the Avenida del Paral·lel, at the foot of Montjuïc from the sea side.
