Castellers tradition
In Catalonia, the Castells (Human Towers) tradition is deeply rooted. It is not surprising since this is where this tradition of building human towers was created. The castellers are born in the Tarragona area and then consolidate in the Penedès. In the 80s, the castellers reach all corners of Catalonia. Rehearse with the Castellers del Prat
Castellera tradition in our city is represented by Castellers El Prat. Since 2014, they are in charge of the castells in El Prat de Llobregat and various places in Catalonia. On the other hand, it is a colla castellera (groups of castellers) young, and with great force in the casteller world. The essays are open to anyone who wants to know the culture of the castle. The next important event for the castellers will be the Diada del Bateig on Saturday, June 30 at 6:00 p.m. It will be a good opportunity to live the experience up close and be part of the base and the tradition.
