The Beach, near MuchaMasia
El Prat beach is a treasure that you can enjoy with your visit to Mucha Masía. You can get there very easy by bike thanks to a bike path. This passes in front of our hostel, crosses the village and the rural environment of fields. After skirting the airport, you will reach the Prat de Llobregat beach (Barcelona). It is very close to MuchaMasia.
If the bicycle is not your thing, there is also a bus. It’s PR3, which links El Prat de Llobregat with the beach.
It is a virgin beach, with several spaces cataloged as Red Natura, but with all the basic services. In it you will find relief point, beach bars, showers, bike parking, sailing center. And if you come wanting to learn more about the marine world, you can visit the CRAM, the Marine Animal Recovery Center.
The Delta del Llobregat
Mucha Masía is in the center of El Prat de Llobregat, the most important urban center of the Delta del Llobregat. El Prat is surrounded by a natural environment that can not be found in another part of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona: the Natural Reserves of the Delta del Llobregat.
We speak of a protected area formed by several wetland systems that has become a sanctuary for migratory birds. In these Natural Spaces, more than 200 different species of birds have been counted. Among the common birds that we can observe are all kinds of ducks, coots, gulls, cormorants and also birds of prey.

The Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat
The fertile lands of the Delta del Llobregat have been cultivated since years ago. This is because the land is rich in sediments from the Llobregat River. But the key to success is water. The discovery of the groundwater of the Delta has favored an orchard agriculture. In this way, we find crops that have become icons of the municipality of El Prat such as the artichoke and melon.
Diverse families of agriculturists continue working the lands that surround the city. And you can buy their products in the different stores and also in the Mercat de Pagès. You will find it every Saturday morning in the Plaza de Pau Casals, very close to Mucha Masía.
Mas Blau and polygons of economic activity
Line 9 of the metro connects us with the Airport and Barcelona. But it also links MuchaMasia with Mas Blau. This area of economic activity of the Prat de Llobregat contains a large number of top-level companies. Volskwagen Audi Spain, Vueling, Norwegian, Yamaha and many more are two metro stops away from MuchaMasia. If you are one of those who have to prepare for Vueling courses, our hostel is your home. Barcelona
Surely you visit Mucha Masía with the intention of knowing some corners of the city of Barcelona.
You can go by train, which will leave you at Passeig de Gràcia in 10 minutes and from there visit the most touristic city center. You can go by metro, which takes you, for example, to the Fira de Barcelona or the Camp Nou, FC Barcelona’s stadium. You can also choose to take a 165 bus that will take you to the Plaza de España. And there you can make transfers to see other places in the city.
