Esperanzah Festival is coming!

The Esperanzah Festival returns to El Prat. An unmissable event with music, solidarity and cooperation. This festival will be held on 13th, 14th and 15th October at the Parc Nou in El Prat de Llobregat, near Barcelona.

What is Esperanzah Festival?

We talked to the organization and they told us this: :“During the summer of 2007, a group of people linked to the GATS association(a social entity that seeks a social transformation) and the Radiochango project ( a dissemination platform of mestizo music and committed to labor issues of social and collective consciousness to transform social reality),decide to travel to Floreffe. This is a small Belgian town where since 15 years ago they celebrate the World Music Festival. A project that draws on a lot of Belgian NGOs that make possible the realization.“

Why we like it?

This festival is special because it takes place in our town, a few minutes from MuchaMasia. In addition, it shares many of the values of our establishment. We believe in social consciousness, social and solidarity economy, respect to the environment and we like good music. If you come to MuchaMasia on 13th, 14th and 15th October, save some time to go to the festival. The best way is walking from our house (20 minutes) or underground (6 minutes).

Who plays?

The Esperanzah Festival this year is headed by the group Txarango. The Catalan group has become a musical phenomenon, both for its quality and its commitment to various causes. In addition to Txarango, other groups will also perform as ZOO, the humorist Leo Bassi, or the mestizo music group Muyayo Rif. All programming you will find it here

How much?

The entrance to the Festival is considered as special donation of 12 euros. With this donation you can access the 3 days to the festival venue, and the amount raised will go to projects of solidarity as ProActivaOpenArms. Tickets can buy at MuchaMasia.
