Enjoy our Fiesta Mayor!

The Fiesta Mayor of El Prat is coming from 22nd to 25th September. They are our home celebrations of our town. During 4 days, you will not need to move from the town. The party is assured with many proposals and concerts. In addition, everything will be close to MuchaMasia.

Why do they like so much?

Fiestas del Prat de Llobregat are the ones we like and the most anticipated of the year. There are a lot of activities right next to home. From concerts of big names in music to live intensely popular culture. So, festivities begin on September 22nd with the opening speech, where all entities of popular culture in El Prat are involved. You will see dancing giants, human towers of Castellers, and the Diables pyrotechnics association. And that night will continue with concerts of Manel and Doctor Prats. Do you know these groups? At present, they are two of the most important Catalan music bands.

The next day, the concerts are in charge of El Arrebato, Kiko Veneno and performances by local DJ  Prat Lessons. But not everything are concerts.

Fiesta Mayor of El Prat, the most beautiful and elegant

As It has been said, popular culture is fervently lived with fire shows of the Diables, giants and Castellers or human towers. 23rd Saturday afternoon you can enjoy a “Diada Castellera” with the exhibition of human towers that can reach 9 stories high. Fire takes over the streets around us the same Saturday night. The Diables of El Prat will start his “correfoc”, a journey through the streets of El Prat with fireworks and firecrackers. If you like the giants and oversized headed figures, the big day will be on Sunday 24th. In the morning, giants from all places of Catalonia will fill our streets.

Moreover, you will enjoy street theater on the Plaza de Pau Casals (3 mins from MuchaMasia), the fair with rides and attractions, circus and folk music,.
