El Prat, the town where Mucha Masia is located, does not take a break in July and continues to offer attractive and interesting plans during the first month of summer. In this blog entry, we reveal the best plans for July in El Prat. There is something for everyone.

Live Music and Cinema at La Capsa

In July, La Capsa‘s agenda is full of activities. Let’s start with the musical performances.

Banana Strong: On the night of Friday, 5th July, you can enjoy this rock band formed in El Baix Llobregat.

DJs Perra Neón: On 12th July, it is the turn of this pair of local DJs known for representing Generation Z.

Sergio y Lola: 19th July is reserved for the flamenco art offered by this duo of musicians.

Júlia&Teo: Another pair of local DJs will be spinning contemporary rhythms on the night of 26th July.

But in July, at La Capsa, you can also enjoy cinema, but not just any cinema. The Cinema i Música is a series focused on showcasing the early cinematographic works directed by women, which, being silent, are accompanied by music, just as they were a hundred years ago. In this edition, we can see works by Dorothy Davenport (3rd July), Alice Guy-Blanché (10th July), and Lois Weber (17th July).

More Cinema at Capri

If you enjoy the seventh art, in July you can watch more films at the local cinema, Capri. On 17th July, as part of the Cine Club, Sis dies corrents (Six Ordinary Days) will be screened, which tells a week in the life of Valero, Moha, and Pep, workers of a small plumbing and electrical company on the outskirts of Barcelona. Admission is free. Moreover, on 26th July, one of the most anticipated releases of the summer arrives: Deadpool & Wolverine.

Dance and Circus in the Courtyard of l’Artesà

L’Artesà joins the summer activities. Enjoy live dance in the courtyard of this venue on the night of 7th July and circus on the night of 14th July.
