To enjoy Christmas in Barcelona, we recommend taking the train from the El Prat station and getting off at Passeig de Gràcia. As soon as you step onto the street, you’ll be enchanted by the Christmas lights along this boulevard (don’t forget to admire Casa Batlló, specially illuminated for the occasion). Head down to Catalunya Square and take the Portal de l’Àngel avenue to the Fira de Santa Llúcia, the city’s most important Christmas market. You’ll find everything at its stalls: gifts, baubles for the tree, the famous caganers, figures for the nativity scene, and much more. Finally, make your way to Sant Jaume Square, where you can discover the nativity scene set up by the town hall.
