The Capri Cinema, the cinema of all

In El Prat, when we go to the movies we go to Capri. The Capri is our cinema, everyone’s cinema. Opened more than 50 years ago, it is one of the symbols of identity of our city. Managed by the Marimón family, it resists competition from multiplexes and shopping centers. It has a room with capacity for 900 people and a screen of gigantic dimensions, adapted to new technologies.

The Modern, cinema and theater

The Modern Theater is in the Plaza de la Vila. For many years it was a cinema, and for more than 20 years it has been the largest theater in the city. The Modern is the main scenic area of the Prat and where most of the scenic works that are made in the city are represented.

For this theater season, the Modern prepares various theatrical proposals for all audiences. Among the big names are Luis Piedrahita, Emma Vilarasau, Julio Manrique or Héctor Alterio. All of them will perform throughout the year in the theater.

The Teatre Kaddish, our adorable neighbors

Right across from Muchamasia is the Teatre Kaddish. The Teatre Kaddish is a theater association of the Prat that has been forging actors and actresses in recent years. Each weekend they program different cultural proposals, with affordable prices and reduced format. In addition, they also offer courses in theater, mime or body language.
